Our Gardens
Clary Gardens is a vibrant sanctuary where the art of gardening comes to life across 20 acres of thoughtfully designed landscapes. Every corner invites visitors to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the harmony of color, texture, and seasonal change. Whether you're wandering paved paths or exploring quiet trails, the gardens offer a peaceful escape and a celebration of nature’s quiet brilliance.
From spring’s first blooms to autumn’s golden hues, Clary Gardens is a living canvas, welcoming guests to experience the joy, serenity, and inspiration that only a garden can provide.

Rose Garden
Step into a living tribute where beauty blooms and history whispers through every petal. The Rose Garden at Clary Gardens was the very first vision planted by Elizabeth Clary, a heartfelt homage to her family’s legacy in floristry. Today, it stands as a centerpiece of the 20-acre botanical haven, welcoming guests with vibrant colors, fragrant air, and timeless charm.
Wander the winding paths that lead past the gazebo and up toward the sandstone amphitheater, where roses frame unforgettable moments, from weddings to quiet reflection. Each bloom tells a story, echoing the Clary Brothers’ tradition of cultivating “Hot House Roses” that once traveled the country by rail.
Whether you're here for a photo op, a peaceful stroll, or to celebrate life’s milestones, the Rose Garden offers a place to pause, breathe, and be inspired. It’s not just a garden, it’s a legacy in full bloom.

Japanese Garden
Nestled beside the Event Pavilion, the Japanese Garden at Clary Gardens invites guests into a serene landscape inspired by timeless Eastern design. With its heart-shaped pond, cascading waterfall, and traditional Yatsuhashi bridge, this garden offers a peaceful retreat where nature and reflection meet.
Designed with accessibility in mind, the paved paths wind gently through curated plantings and natural stone features, making it a favorite for quiet strolls, wedding portraits, and moments of stillness. Whether you're admiring the koi beneath the bridge or listening to the soft rush of water, the Japanese Garden is a place to pause and reconnect, with nature, with beauty, and with yourself.

Children's Garden
Imagination takes root in the Children's Garden, a whimsical space designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature. Nestled among the rolling paths of Clary Gardens, this interactive haven invites young explorers to climb, crawl, and discover the magic of the outdoors.
From beanpole tipis and balance beams to a caterpillar-shaped tunnel and shaded play areas, every feature is crafted to encourage hands-on learning and joyful play. Seasonal programs and storybook trails add layers of adventure, making each visit a new chapter in a child’s journey with the natural world.

Woodland Trail
The Woodland Trail offers a half-mile loop through shady trees, sandstone ledges, and quiet streams. With wildflowers, small caverns, and seasonal waterfalls, it’s perfect for peaceful strolls, “creeking” adventures, and spontaneous discovery. Kids love finding salamanders in damp corners, while nature lovers pause for birdsong and blooms.
Whether you're out with the dog or walking solo, the trail offers a cool summer escape and a quiet reset from everyday noise. It’s where nature leads, and wonder follows.

Pollinator Garden
Designed to delight both visitors and vital pollinators, this garden bursts with blooms that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds throughout the growing season. Native and perennial plants provide a rich buffet of nectar and pollen, supporting biodiversity and adding a splash of color to the landscape.
Whether you're watching monarchs dance through milkweed or hearing the hum of busy bees, the Pollinator Garden is a living classroom, teaching the importance of conservation, habitat, and the beauty of nature’s smallest workers. It’s a favorite stop for photographers, families, and anyone who loves seeing nature in motion.
