#29 Mindful Movement

Location: Clary Gardens
Date: 06/19/2023
Time: 10:00 am to 11:00 am

Much is known about the benefits of mindfulness and the benefits of yoga, but what happens when you combine the two together? Mindful Movement Monday applies traditional mindfulness teachings to the physical practice of yoga, offering even deeper insights into the mind, body & spirit. All levels are welcome for this gentle vinyasa flow designed to help you unearth new ways to move throughout your practice. Come explore your body, discover new breathing techniques and gain deep rest for your soul during our meditative savasana. Suitable for all levels with loving variations offered for all poses.

LOCATION: The Amphitheater or in case of rain The Pavillion behind the red house.

DATES: June 19, July 3rd, July 17th, July 31st

TIME: 10AM-11AM (plan to arrive 15 minutes before class to get in the zen zone)

WHAT YOU NEED: A yoga mat (I have a couple loaners if you forget)

WHAT YOU MIGHT WANT: water, blocks, blanket or other prop

COST: Pay What You Wish! This is my personal radical experiment in heart centered economics. A small-but-meaningful revolution in commerce. My purpose for money is for myself and others to be well, to continue creating, and to fund world-healing causes. Let’s see how this unfolds.*Average cost of classes in the area $10-15 per hour*

IF YOU’RE FEELING ROCK STAR ABUNDANT: I will be happy to accept additional donations to offset the cost of bringing Mindfulness and Yoga to those in Underserved and Under Resourced communities such as treatment centers, jails and institutions. Much research has been done confirming what many of us have known for so long that “the issues live in the tissues”. If we move…we heal. Every person that heals? Relieves the financial burden on our community. We all benefit. It’s really that simple. Not to mention it’s just a nice thing to do.

HOW TO SIGN UP: Please sign up below by commenting or click coming! Go ahead DO IT! Drop ins welcome but sign up now and make a commitment…to your own heart and healing….baby you really are worth it.

HOW TO PAY: Cash, paypal, debit, venmo and organic, gluten free dark chocolate accepted. Prepayment is super duper. Who wants to mess with that pesky money stuff before class?

VENMO LINK: FrolicaholicFederation@FrolicaholicFederation

*P.S.: A percentage of each class will be donated to Clary Gardens for its continued growth and maintenance.

**P.P.S.: Be on the lookout for additional days and times
